DAY 1: Meeting at the Departure Port The trips depart from Genoa, Civitavecchia, or Palermo.
We will meet at the port, where you will get to know the tour leaders and the other participants; after the boarding procedures, we will settle into our private cabins, and the journey will officially begin!
DAY 2: Tunis – Hammamet (80 km) After disembarking in Tunis in the late afternoon/evening, we will complete the customs formalities together and head towards Hammamet, where we will arrive in the evening.
DAY 3: Hammamet – Matmata (400 km) We set off to discover Tunisia, from the coastal area of Hammamet to the deep south of the country.
We will visit the magnificent Roman amphitheater of El Jem and arrive in Matmata in the late afternoon to visit the typical Troglodyte houses carved into the rock.
DAY 4: Matmata - Tataouine (260 km) Discovering the rocky desert of Tunisia! The winding Ksar road will take us from Matmata to Tataouine through the mountains.
We will visit the Berber village of Chenini and explore a Ksar, an ancient fortified granary typical of the region.
DAY 5: Tataouine - Douz (320 km) The magic of the Sahara and its infinite sand expanses.
If the roads allow, we will reach the oasis of Ksar Ghilane for a swim in the spring or a quad bike ride. At the end of the day, we will enjoy the sunset in Douz, the "Gate of the Desert."
DAY 6: Douz - Tozeur (260 km) The adventure continues! We will cross the salt lake of Chott el Jerid by motorcycle—sometimes dry, sometimes flooded—it will be a unique thrill.
In the afternoon, we will visit the mountain oases and ride on the famous Rommel Road.
DAY 7: Tozeur - Kairouan (300 km) The ascent back north begins; we will leave the desert behind and visit the archaeological site of Sbeitla, then arrive in the holy city of Kairouan, where we will stop for the night.
DAY 8: Kairouan - Tunis (210 km) In the morning, we will visit the colourful Medina of Kairouan, one of Islam's holy cities, and, if possible, the Great Mosque.
After lunch, we will get back on the motorcycles and head towards the coast to arrive in Tunis in the late afternoon.
DAY 9: Tunis - Boarding (20 km) The last day of the trip will be dedicated to Tunis, the wonderful capital of Tunisia.
A guide will accompany us to discover the Medina and the ruins of Carthage. Depending on the ferry's departure time, we may make a final stop in Sidi Bou Said, a white fishing village, before heading to the port for boarding.
DAY 10: Sailing and End of the trip The journey is coming to an end, and there will be time for some final laughs together before arriving at the port.
Note: Only in the case of arrival at Civitavecchia, there will be two nights on board, and disembarkation will take place the following morning.
